Homebody

Homebody was opened in 2020 by Claire Hatziioannou, as a sister store and extension of House Warmings: an interior design studio & home store founded by parents Michele & Leon Hatziioannou. The entrepreneurial spirit and shared values of the Hatziioannou family have propelled Homebody to new heights-distilling that bit of magic in the heart of Oakville, where the story first began. They have now proudly gained a reputation as the perfect source for luxurious clothing, jewelry, self care, home decor & gifting. In 2025, they opened their sister store in Toronto with plans to open a third location in 2026.

Homebody

The focus of the Homebody website was to improve the e-commerce experience using UX design, to optimise the customer journey and tidy the vast product catalogue with the aim to improve sales by increasing the average transaction value. With the addition of a product filtering option, automation retargeting, integrating the site with social selling tools, as well as Google Search & Shopping Tools and making technical adjustments to the product codes, the results were astounding with an incredible +255% in online sales, +47% conversion rate, + 111% in traffic, +39% in ATV in the first year.

We optimised each product code to show correctly & cleanly across all channels, driving digital + in-store traffic, then we presented the merchandise in clean & stylish designs to drive high value engagement.

We wanted to showcase the social media following of the brand with a beautiful visual using the Instafeed app to allow for a multichannel experience.

The shop itself is a multibrand store featuring curated edits each month. We’d help select & merchandise the edits, write copy surrounding them & refresh the Home Page all in theme. We incorporated ‘Shop the Look’ features, ‘Shop by Collection’ features, ‘Brand Highlights’ features in rotation.
